The artist

Walter Costinak was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and studied design at the University-College of the Fraser Valley, graduating with honors.  His design firm 2 design & communication has created for such notable clients as Sony, id software, Macromedia, Activision and GameSpy.

Turning from the digital  to the tangible, Walter now uses wood, stone and rusted metal to create enduring works of art.

Walter lives in Abbotsford, BC with his wife, three kids, four cats, three rabbits and two dogs.  He had a goldfish named Buggy, who died.
